As you may have already noticed Canny has posted his prediction for the away derby game v The Mackems early.......................... Deadline for predictions involving this fixture is Saturday 20th August 10am. Anything after that time will not be award points nor go towards your league total. Can you also please remember to nominate a 1st Goal Scorer (It can be a player from either side and I don't like having to guess) otherwise again you may lose out on points being awarded. I'm satisfied to give people the benefit of the doubt for the first four games and remind them to do it, but after that I will simply not award points. Also Should anyone else want to join it's not too late as only one game has been played. Obviously the later you leave it to enter the more points you miss out on being awarded. Just in case this gets swallowed in among the posts for predictions I'll remind everyone again later in the week about the submission deadline.. CWL  |

As this is a derby game against the Wearside Wasters I'm tempted to go with the heart again with a big score.......................umm! Yes the heart is telling me this could be another shock to the system for our main rivals at 4 - 1 with our whole team clicking on the day. Stroller doing what Stroller does and scoring but bugger all else.......... Cabaye the Lad getting a screamer.............Barton pulling the strings and an easy pen.....................even Colo getting in on the act. So with that out of the way I'm going completely with the head and my prediction is.................... a draw 1 - 1, with Colback first goal scorer and Obertan for The Toon in reply. But oh! how I will love it should the heart result be the final outcome. CWL  |

Tough decision this Magpie as I have to be fair to all the other members in the League.................  However as there appears to be a few that have not posted predictions yet I will leave it open today until 15 minutes before kick off. If not posted by then they will not count...............
