Congratulations this week go to Capt M for a terrific nine point haul thanks to a correct score and goal from Demba Ba.......... Leazes and Fairsy also score well this week both gaining five points from predicting the correct scoreline. Closely followed by Jazz, Polly, Marlene and WofT, all picking up four points. So following todays game Leazes (30) has a ten point gap at the top of the pile on new second place man Fairsy who has twenty. Jazz also moves up the table into third place a point behind on nineteen. CWL joins Magpie on eighteen. Then comes Ann, Natt and Polly on 16. Despite a cracking score Capt M effectively only moves up one place in the table. Meantime, much to no ones surprise, Canny continues to fall down the table faster than The Mackems. WofT despite picking up a good four points however still remains on the ground floor looking up at the rest. There's now a two week break until battle resumes with The Home game against Spurs, Sunday 16th October, 4pm kick off. Deadline for predictions is 2pm and please make sure you name your 1st GS correctly otherwise you could miss out on valuable points. Any problems drop me a PM or shout up in a post. CWL |
