Here are the rules for this season's Toon Predictions League should you want to enter and play.................. Points and Scoring Correct Result (Final Score) 5 pts = Fully correct score i.e. correct outcome, exact scoreline which implies correct GD 4 pts = Correct outcome, not the exact scoreline but the correct GD (i.e actual scoreline 2 - 1, prediction 3 - 2, GD +1) 3 pts = Correct outcome only (i.e a win, draw, loss) Correct First Goal Scorer - 3 points (note this can be a player from either team) All Correct Goal Scorers (Toon only) Additional point for each correct goal scorer also on top of a bonus of 2 points for all correct goal scorers. (i.e. Scenario A..... actual scoreline 2 - 1, prediction Colo and Best........... Only Best scored so 1 point awarded for outcome.) (i.e. Scenario B..... actual scoreline 2 - 1, prediction Gosling and Taylor....... both score so points awarded 1 + 1 + 2 bonus for correct outcome.) Prediction Submission Deadline All predictions must be submitted no later than two hours before the scheduled kick off. i.e. 1pm (UK local time) for a 3pm (UK local time) kick off. i.e. 11.30am (UK local time) for a 1.30pm (UK local Time) kick off. i.e. 3.30pm (UK local time) for a 5.30pm (UK local time) kick off. i.e. 5.45pm for a 7.45pm evening kick off etc. etc. etc. CWL  |

Here are the predictions for where The Toon will be in The Premeir League table after ten games have been played............... Marlene 6th Leazes 7th Natt 7th Ann 8th Fairsy 8th Jazz 8th CWL 9th Magpie 9th WofT 9th Canny 10th Capt M 10th Polly 12th Whoever is correct will gain an additional 10 bonus points. CWL |

Sunday, March 25 2012 West Bromwich Albion - Newcastle United (16.00) won 1 - 3 : 3 points Sunday, April 1 2012 Newcastle United - Liverpool (13.30) won 2 - 0 : 3 points Friday, April 6 2012 Swansea City - Newcastle United (16.30) won 0 - 2 : 3 points Monday, April 9 2012 Newcastle United - Bolton Wanderers (15.00) won 2 - 0 : 3 points Saturday, April 21 2012 Newcastle United - Stoke City (15.00) won 3- 0 : 3 points Saturday, April 28 2012 Wigan Athletic - Newcastle United (15.00) Lost 4 - 0 : 0 points Wednesday, 2nd May 2012 Chelsea - Newcastle United (19:45) won 0 - 2 : 3 points Sunday, May 6 2012 Newcastle United - Manchester City (13.30) Lost 0 - 2 : 0 Sunday, May 13 2012 Everton - Newcastle United (15.00) Lost 3 - 1 : 0 I will even throw in a bonus five points if you can also predict our final League position although you have to get both correct to receive the reward. Slight variation this season in the format of the Predictions League. This time instead of all points being derived from a single Newcastle fixture there will be four further games scorelines to predict, with points awarded as follows... For example: Arsenal v Villa, Mackems v Fulham, Birmingham v Brighton, Boro v Blackpool, Citeh v Toon Simply cut n paste fixtures from my post each week on the League thread then post as below with your respective scorelines and Toon scorer...
