Latest: Over 80 kids shot dead at a youth camp in addition to the bomb in Oslo city centre. My heart goes out to their families. Whilst tragic I am glad to say none of the known terrorist organizations were involved. It seem to be the work of a crazy individual.

Wow glad you are OK. A huge shudder must have gone down your spine.
I can't help thinking there is a terrorist connection. I think that Norway's intelligence services are are a little inept because until yesterday they weren't a obvious target. This of course makes them an easy target.

I wonder what cause or reasons will be used to try and defend or justify the taking of so many young lives................ completely insane! How ironic that in a number of Arab countries democracy is seen as the way to bring about political change. Whereas in the West right wing extremists or obssessed individuals have plumbed the depths by resorting to killing innocent people. That aside my prayers are with the victims, their families, loved ones and the misbegotten soul who carried out this travesty. CWL  |

CWL Ditto it doesnt matter if it is a tradegy in a place where it is unexpected or a place where it has become the "norm". It is still so upsetting. The taking of any life for whatever misguided reason is always tragic. Also as sad is the perpertrater who feels that this is thier only option. |
