not long now till my sons driving test, but till then we stick the magnetic L plates on his car and he drives to work i drive his car back home then back to his work when he finishes and he drives it home, 2 days in a row we have had a car fly past us while we were doing 30 in a 30 zone, the first one was a BMW wich nearly crashed into a car coming the opposite way, we have also had cars just happily pulling out in front of us at junctions, when im driving his car without the L plates i get none of these problems i think motorists see a car with the Ls on and turn into instant idiots, also as im just sitting in the car while he is driving ive noticed a lot more people using their mobile phones while driving, just goes to show the law is too soft for this offence, i would make it an instant year ban and a £500 fine that might stop them.

Alot of drivers seem to forget they were learners once too >:(Ive seen people do the most idiotic things when around people just learning or just passed their test-most common being driving bumper to bumper in an attempt the learner to go faster-it makes me mad because I cant stand being tail-gated either.Anyone tries that trick with me suddenly finds I slow down not speed up.
And Ive been noticing more people on the phone whilst driving-a canny few are mothers just pulling up outside the school-total idiots!!!

I slow right down too when being tailgated. Although TBH tailgaters can very rarely keep up with me ;D I think L plates seem to bring out the idiot in people. Learners and newly passed are the only ones I'll give leeway to - everyone else is fair game!! ;D What I cannot stand is those "Baby on Board" stickers My first thought is "yeah so what"? I was behind one on Friday that said "Retired - not in a hurry to go anywhere" I was behind him screaming "well I bloody am, move"!!!! ;D

Yes the "Baby on board" sticker what exactly what's the message. Should I think? Oh baby on board! I was just going to ram your car up the arse, but I won't now because you've got a baby on board.

the baby on board sticker is just a way to remind drivers to keep their distance as they tend to forget that some people do have young children in their car with them.

Yes, that's what I mean patronising other drivers.

no matter what the sticker says i think they do serve a purpose, as most drivers seem to drive along in zombie mode it may catch their attention and make them think im too close to the car in front, if you dont like them and think they are patronising why not put a sticker on the back of your car saying i dont like car stickers ;D.
