Northern Pride March

Weve been looking forward to going to this all week and the weather has been beautiful until today

But we are still going-always a great afternoon-so I wont be around this afternoon but will be back early evening

Despite getting completely soaked we had a great afternoon.I always find the atmosphere at the gay pride events to be a fun and friendly one and fabulous to see people able to just be themselves.Some amazing and at times outrageous outfits which all added to the fun and a very large crowd despite the weather.

We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are already looking forward to next year !!!

We were only there for a short time today. I think rain meant that many peope didnt turn up. I have to admit that we were one of the rain soaked leavers. Sorry.

This is another of those events I always see too late!!! The county shows are the same! We see them on the news and wonder where the hell they are advertised?? 'Cos I never seem to hear about them until after:( Mind I must say, if I was going to go today, I wouldn't have, when I got up and saw the rain, it was coming down buckets here!!!!!

We nearly didnt go to be honest-and the worst thing is as we were leaving the sun came out

Just got back from Northern Pride
Was in Town by nine yesterday morning and a group of us were to wring out like a wet dishcloth by six last night.
Went to daughter's friends place for a dry out and change of clothes as we'd hit Next's sale and the other shops earlier in the morning.
The cabarets were brilliant and we staggered back to her friends around four this morning.
Had a chilling day and then went in search of the car Got home around six tonight.
A day to be remembered and can't wait for next year.
Got a Glasgow wedding to go to in September so yesterday was good practice. ;D
