Newcastle's Alan Pardew told he can spend all the Andy Carroll money

� Owner assures manager the �35m will be reinvested in team

Newcastle fans will be relieved that the manager will be able to spend the Andy Carroll transfer money in the summer.

The Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew is confident that the owner, Mike Ashley, will give him all of the �35m the club received for their striker Andy Carroll to spend during the summer. ;D ;D

Pardew was today coming to terms with playing the remainder of the season without a player he had been determined to keep, and is now comforting himself and the club's supporters with the prospect of a close-season spending spree.

Pardew said: "The one thing I said to Mike yesterday was, 'Look, if this boy is going to go, this money has to be reinvested in the team, all of it', and he has assured me of that. For the Newcastle fan, that is the most important message I can give today, that all that money will be used.

"Could it have been used yesterday? Late last night, we made a couple of bids, but we were getting extortionate figures thrown at us. It was ridiculous.

"Were we going to pay an over-hiked price for a lesser product than Andy Carroll? No, so unfortunately as I sit here now, I am weaker than I was yesterday because I had Andy Carroll maybe four or five weeks away [from full fitness]. No, I am not comfortable with it, but it is what it is."

It amazes me that there is still anyone on this planet who believe a single word this lying bunch of jokers say. Pardupe, it is time to stop spouting guff and do something for this club. (Like resign)

Fairsy while I agree that APee has no backbone when it comes to confronting our most benevolent owner it serves no purpose for him to resign. The main reason I think that way is quite simply he would be replaced by another Fat Controller appointment possibly in the Joe Fking Here mode.........................

As with Hughton it is just a matter of when rather than if he goes under Mikey..................... although for many supporters it can't come soon enough.

The way in which the money received for Carroll will be spent is also full of doubt depending upon who you believe and what you read. The only thing I'm reasonably confident about is that if Mikey can avoid spending any of it, he will.
