Canny pics them Rosey You from the Blyth area then? I currently have a house in Bedlington although I myself am living and working in Saudi at the mo!! Are they "as is" or did you use filters etc?

Are they "as is" or did you use filters etc? Leazes, I live in Blyth now, although originally from Gateshead (stood in the away end at Blyth v Gateshead match last season). Photos have had filters applied to darken the sky. Neither film or digital can capture the range of exposure that we can see. In the olden days I used to shoot on film with gradient filters to darken skies. Now I tend not to bother with physical filters, and apply them with software. Nothing else done to them though. So, my adjustments have just made the scenes look as I saw them at the time.

Still great pics even so.......... I could never get anything near as good as that which is why my one and only venture into the world of SLR didn't last very long Might just try to rekindle the "David Bailey" in me though

where in Blyth?? Cowpen Quay,Ridley Avenue or Plessey Road??I was brought up in the Crofton area of Blyth,that's the old Crofton,much of which has been pulled down.
