We were talking a while back about women and tattoos but in the Sunday Sun the other day there was an article about corset piercings.Funnily enough I first heard of this when we visited Galashiels last year-guy there had a shop doing piercings and he was offering these.I dont have a big issue with piercings or tattoos-in fact I think some of them look really beautiful but the photo of the throat corset did kinda make me wince slighly www.sundaysun.co.uk/news/north-east-news/2011/06/12/corset-piercing-craze-sweeps-north-east-79310-28862302/

corset piecings were something i seen about 7 or 8 years ago and thankfully they have not become as popular as tattoos and hope they never will, i dont know why people do these sort of thing to their bodies, is it the shock factor, to be centre of attention, to join in with the rest o f the crowd or to be different i dont know but once you have seen one or two it loses the shock factor and like tattoos no one takes notice of women with tattos anymore because they are so common, the tattoos that is not the women ;D, if people want to make themselves look silly and ugly with all these stupid piecings or go overboard with the tattoos that's up to them, but like many in years to come they will regret it.
