This is a fairly dull subject but I thought it would be interesting to see how other poster's schools named their school "houses", or if they had "houses"at all?
My school had the four national saints....St. George, (red tee shirts), St. Andrew, (blue), St. David, (yellow), and St. Patrick.....you've guessed it.....(green)!
I stumbled around in my blue tee shirt on sports day doing my best for "Andy"! ;D

Our School Houses were Raby (red) Kildale (blue) Farndale (yellow) and Eskdale (green)
I was alway's in Raby through my school years. ;D

Ours were dead boring, just colors - red, blue, green and yellow!! I was in green, which was brilliant as we had the best athletes!!! No thanks to me I'll add, I was hopeless, hated P.E, the only thing I liked was swimming and we never did that as there was no pool anywhere at the time. All the swimming was done in the sea, and TBH to this day I hate swimming pools, give me the sea every time!!  They have names now, but don't know what they are and they are all Welsh!!! I think one is Cybi.

A timely post Armstrong, Collingwood, Grey and Stephenson. Blue ,yellow, green and red. There's a whole school reunion taking place at the Newcastle Civic Centre on July 16th. but I guess the most popular colours will be grey, silver, and at best salt and pepper. |

mine wear Tyne. Tees. Wear we only had 3 and I cant recall what the colours were, I was in Tyne

Our school's houses were named after saints also. I was in Campion (red), can't remember the rest though. I think one was Fisher, possibly yellow. It really sucks to lose your memory  |
