We had a great day today and I make no apologies for giving a mention to the Grafters club on here.

A trip out with families affected by burns from the entire North East region-Geordies,Mackems,Smoggies-call em what you will but in the end all coming together for a fun day out for the kids and a brilliant experience-sharing experiences,seeing the kids-many who are greatly affected by their burn injuries in one way or another -having fun, realising they arent alone in coping with the scars,treatments,surgeries and psychological and physical affects such injuries cause.Siblings having their own experiences-parents sharing

Totally funded by voluntary donations its the only group in existence in the North East for burns survivors and their families and my god do we appreciate it

Very pleased you and the family had a good time today, Shads....having met them they are a credit to you and Mr Shads....good to have an organization like this, long may it prosper and grow!

Its good to raise awareness of the Grafters Club, Shads. I have to admit I had not heard of this until you told me, so the more people made aware the better.
A good thing about forums like this is that people can raise awareness about what is out there in terms of support.
