i have had cable since it was run by Telewest and blueyonder provided the internet service, my internet has been off since thursday due to a fault somewhere which has just been fixed, when it was blueyonder there was never any problems but since Virgin took over it now seem to be a common thing, another thing that pees me off is when i joined blueyonder i was told every time they upgraded i would be but with Virgin this is not the case, i am on 20mb and if i want to be on the 30mb or 50 mb i must pay extra and im already paying more than new customers are for 50mb, come monday im going to see if they will upgrade me without having to pay extra so if i dissappear for a while dont worry it's just me having a tiff with them .

Tell me about it Ive been with them for years-firstly a Blueyonder customer then Virgin. Ive been disconnected twice before even being given a chance to pay my bill-which arrived five days after disconnection-and we had a massive row with them after some arrogant customer service woman talked to us as if we were simple minded idiots Ended up removing our phone package from them. Ive got internet through BT too now so if the buggers disconnect me again I should still have internet access I'm right behind you skint-give em hell

when it first went off on thursday night i knew it was a problem at their end, when it was still not on come friday dinner time i thought id give them a ring, it started, we have made our service simpler, 4 times i had to go through choose from a choice of 5 then security code after that, our lines are all busy your call will be answered in 10 minutes then disingaged tone then a voice saying the person on the other line has cleared, in other words been cut off. 4 time this happened so gave up till today when i got straight through, at least they did say sorry for the problems id had, anyway if they cant or should i say wont give me 50mb for no extra cost as im paying more for 20mb than it costs for 50mb then im going to cancel my internet service with them, then my partner can sign up with them and get 50mb for a little less than im paying for 20mb.

You never ever get through first time. Everytime you type in your phone number it "doesnt quite catch it" so you have to type it in again-well dodgy. Then try talking to a person-takes about four to five goes. Mind council tax people were bad too-took me about eight tries to talk to a human. BT has the all time record-our hub was missing in the post-took at least thirteen attempts to speak to a person-I only got through when I pressed the "Im leaving you" option

Orange & Freeview for us.....sounds like a drink doesn't it!..........a slice of lemon with ice as well please!....ha, ha, ha! ;D. Seriously though we have no problems with Orange, very reasonably priced too for line rental, free calls and broadband...unlimited downloads etc.

getting upgraded to 50mb on 1st of july, when i asked why i was paying more for my broadband than anyone else the reply was, because i get a loyalty pack discount for been with them for so long the dicount is £19.50 phone and broadband, but because of the extra im paying when i worked it out for been a loyal customer i was only 50p better off, ive just checked my tv package im paying £3.50 more than i should so i think ill give them another call tomorrow .
