Can't say that I know much about him but he has contibutet to Lille's league victory this season.
Should be a good piece of buisness... wonder where that will leave the rest of the midfielders in the club..

Seb mate news just in on twitter that Gervinho is almost sure to sign for us. Gervinho will be a good signing. Like you I am not sure about Cabaye but Gervinho is a quality player.

You could definetly question Lille's ambitions for the next season if players like Gervinho, Cabaye and Hazard are on their way out.

Cabaye The Lad earned himself another French international cap last night along side other NUFC target Kevin Gameiro. Gameiro (58) scoring the equaliser in a 4 - 1 victory away in the Ukraine. The game had been looking like ending a draw until the French scored three (87, 89, 90) goals in the dying minutes of the game. I wonder if our chances of landing KG have improved now Klose has been linked with a move to Valencia. CWL  |

They are probably improved, but one can wonder how motivated he will be if he comes here when he was only slightly interested in Newcastle at best..
