what this forum needs is more members, it's been pretty quiet on here lately so ive came up with a great ides,
Business cards, put what a little bit what the forums about and the web address on business cards and we could leave them everywhere we go, you could also put on them that there is also a NUFC discussion board and the NUFC lads could hand a few out next time they go to a match, we could leave them in bars and put them on shop notice boards.

Thats not a bad idea at all skint-Im going to look into it. Things have been quiet recently-I know a couple of people havent been well-and one of our mods is away at present-I think its one of those weeks that alot seems to be going on for people away from the forum  But certainly we need to be thinking of how to spread the word.I'll be about tomorrow a bit more and maybe we can get a few more ideas |

Seems weve been given some publicity on the Evening Gazette HYS forum.
By an ex EC member.
All I would say,and I'm sure that our members would agree,is that new members are always warmly welcomed.
We simply ask that people adhere to the T&Cs they agreed to on joining.

Skint- that is really a good idea! What a lot of people do is stick notices on toilet doors in pubs, cafes and services stations. Think about it. How many notices have you seen when using toilets? its how I heard about "scooter man", where you can drive to the pub then phone the number and they will drive you home in your car, with their fold up scooter in the back, then drive themselves home on scooter. I also only discovered chewable toothbrushes from pub toilets. Both ideas were complete genius- but how would we have known about them otherwise? I think we should bring along some posters and some Blu tack for the next meet. Just needs someone to make up the posters, then we make sure we each use a different cubicle each time and stick the poster up. people in toilets have opportunity and time to read posters. |

yes it's amazing what you find in pub toilets these days, it was a machine in a pub toilet that learnt us pheromones dont work . |

Or that you get cosmetic dentistry or plastic surgery in your lunch hour. I think this is definetly a viale idea. Has anyone else got some ideas. C'mon people. We could be the voice of the north east. ;D |

there are a few places that do business cards quite cheap i think there is one in Newcasle about 2 mins walk from where destination is at least there used to be, if someone can get a price to get some printed ill chip in, we could also see if we could get some beer mats with the chronicle renegades on the ideal thing to leave in pubs or maybe the pubs may hand them out for us.

cant remember what pub it was in but it was one in Newcastle they had in the mens toilets a condom machine and right next to it a machine selling pregnancy tests, may sound a bit daft but i bet a lot of blokes looked at the pregnancy test machine and thought i better get some condoms ;D.

Now thats clever thinking Ive been looking at prices online for the cards-you can get 250 made for about two quid on some sites. Skint if you know where this place used to be maybe we could pop in on Saturday and see what they are charging-I dont mind contributing either. Had some fun today-in my less miserable moments-designing some on the sites I visited |
