some shops/stores give great customer service but some fail miserably, the thing that gets me is when they tell bare face lies,
i bought a Dyson dc31 from the curry store GHD they did not have in stock at the time but said it would be in in 2 to 3 days and would phone me when it came in, 5 days later no call so i phoned them, they said they were getting a big delivery saturday it should be in then, saturday no call sunday i call them still not in stock, getting another delivery monday should be in then, no call i called them, still not in stock, excuses started, we think Dyson are about to do a reduced deal if so you will get a refund were expecting stock in in the next week, what wait another week , so waited another week i again had to call them excuse we have been in touch with the warehouse and they are going to get one as quick as they can, saturday comes again id now been waiting 3 weeks so i popped into the store to see what was happening, still not in stock the excuse they gave, the Dyson dc31s seem to have a battery fault so they have all been returned to Japan no store has them in, the best we can do is give you a refund, i said Argos has them, Comet has them, they said i dont know how so i got a refund and left,
on the way home i suddenly though about what she said, sending them back to Japan, they are made in this country and the battery comes from Malaysia, the last time i looked at a map Malaysia was a long long way from Japan,
and i never got a bloody apology for waiting so long with nowt to show for it, anyway i went to Comet and got one straight away,
i know the excuses currys gave me were all bull god only knows why they just couldnt tell the truth, anyone else been told big whoppers by customer sevice/care centres.
