WHITLEY BAY today won the FA Vase for the third successive year at Wembley after a goal feast in the capital - and made history in the process.

Goals from Paul Chow (2) and Lee Kerr edged a 3-2 win over Coalville to make the Seahorses the most successful club in FA Vase history with the triumph going with wins in 2002, 2009 and 2010.

This history making victory followed one day after fellow North East club Darlington's 1 - 0 victory over Mansfield in the FA Trophy.
