Not available in my area. Any chance of a transcript or at least an insight into what he said?

As requested............ Spanish full back Jose Enrique is unsure over his future. With his contract expiring at the end of next season Magpie fans are anxious to find out if their wanted man will remain at St.James’s Park. Enrique has enjoyed a successful season on a personal note catching the attention of big clubs such as Man United and Liverpool as well as establishing himself as one of the best left backs in the league. It is this evident quality which Newcastle fans, players and staff would love to hold on to. There was serious speculation about a move to Liverpool recently when Phil Thompson spoke about a supposed “done deal”. However, Enrique is still in the dark over his future. “I’m just concentrating on playing for Newcastle,” he told BBC Late Kick Off. “If I have to continue here , I’m happy. If I have to go to another club, I’m happy in England.” Adding to the confusion he also stated a move abroad is not out of the question. “If I have to go to another league, I’m happy, I just want to play football – it’s my life and it’s best for me.” Manager Alan Pardew had previously spoken of his hopes to retain the flying full back at the club but admitted any talk of contract renewals must wait until the club had secured Premiership status for the next campaign. With Newcastle sitting in 12th place on 41 points and 6 ahead of the relegation places survival seems to be secured. Whether or not Enrique will renew his contract at the club is a question that all Geordie fans will want answered sooner rather than later. This recent interview will cast doubt over his future and one thing that can be sure is if Enrique chooses to pursue his career elsewhere there will be plenty of suitors after his signature. The £6.3million signing from Villareal has become a fan favourite on Tyne-side and will be missed by the Geordie faithful. Try telling supporters something they don't know............. CWL

CWL As always it depends on the magic word "ambition" the fans have plenty, the club (Ashley) has none. Enrique is just another Carroll, to Ashley, profit, cash in his piggy bank, another Milner, another wage, etc... ATB

Thanks for the info CWL. Unfortunately it consists of a great deal of "If I have to do this or if I have to do that" and absolutely no "What I would like to do is............" Well except for the part about playing football. He's off I reckon.

I'm rarely surprised at what professional footballers do these days, however Jose staying at The Toon will raise a smile if it happens. Should he go, as many anticipate, it will only confirm what they also think of the Owner. CWL
