All the reports I've seen say that Ireland is INELIGIBLE to play against his "employers". I'll be suprised if we see him get a runout against West Brom!!
The lads at nufc.com are usually pretty much "in the know" on these matters.

Hmmmm. Does that mean all this injury talk is simply more spin from the terrible three? I've had my suspicions for a while now Fairsy! Why the hell would we bring in a guy who was already crocked before he got here!! Not what I would call "strengthening" or "supplementing" the squad DON'T Leazes! you'll upset Nick the numpty,he's been plagueing the chroni site something rotten,he now claims to be Assley's number one champion, just when we trhought we were rid, argh, sick bucket please.

Ireland must be the ideal signing according to the much held view of our former Tro..............err! Polish forum member. Is valued at £x millions and appears to have cost the Club next to nowt to bring here. Has cost nowt since he arrived and is alledgedly on a pay as you play basis so no wage structure or hugely inflated contract worries. When he goes he will still be valued at £x millions even though no longer, if ever, our player. On paper the perfect asset for NUFC. Guess it's secondary that he was brought here to actually play the game, still who cares if it balances the books! CWL

Marvelous, looks like Stuart Attwell will be the referee in this game. Can't say that I have been impressed of what I have seen from him.

Agreed Natt.......................either nailed on draw or he will give it on a plate to the Midlands Club with a horrendous mistake!! I only hope I'm proved wrong although would take the point now if offered. CWL

Nick the numpty is NOT Polish, he's from Norway,he's attended one match in 25 years,Toon v huddersfield,,league cup,I offered him a ticket when he was based at Preston,he declined,he's a hypocryte of the highest order.

Marky..............I have previous with Nick so was fully aware of his Norwegian stroke Geordie roots via Gateshead, with possibly bit of time spent up the coast at Cramlington or somewhere near to it and his Uni days across in Preston or where ever it was he attained his degree................. The reference to Poland I used is purely in terms of his pen name including Kielce. That's about as much as I want to say on the matter................as it may well ruin the rest of my day! CWL

Well i have said it once and i will say it again Rangers is not good enuf for the premiership at this moment in time he had two chances to put Love'y in on goal with no one to beat. sorry but that's my take on it.

Aye, you're right there Polly...he just doesn't seem to have that killer instinct in front of goal.....no use being fast if he can't put the ball in the net. He must take his chances!

Yet he can bang 'em in for fun in the reserves.......
Have to say the service was crap again today but two good chances squandered agreed!!
Frustrating 'cos it's only a matter of time until he gets the confidence. Would have preferred to see Phil Airey given a chance, but there ye go!!
