No, didn't do anything to anyone today. Nobody did nothing to me Disappointing or what I do like a good April's Fool trick! However we, in this household were convinced that it was May, 1st. saying merrily that we hadn't heard much about the May Day Bank Holiday.....this lasted until midday making both of us April Fools I guess! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I havent done an April fools joke for years...I think the last one i played a part in was when i worked at Palmer's ship yard in Hepburn i used to work constant nights and in the early hours we were all sitting on the dock and HM Illustrious was on the other side of the river waiting to sail to the south coast to have its armaments fitted for the Falklands war ..anyhow one of the welders pushed an oxy bottle into the water and hit the valve with a hammer the bottle shot across the river like a torpedo there was silence then all of a sudden there was a loud BONG as the bottle hit the Illustrious the whole ship lit up with flood lights and you cold see the security running up and down the deck looking over the side we all shouted APRILL FOOL they didnt see the funny side as an hour or so later we were all called to the canteen and read the riot act by the military police ;D

I read the Metro every morning on way to work and I forgot it was april 1st. I was reading about how they had developed an edible version of the paper. I was actually thinking what a good idea that was. Took me a while to click on.

When the dust settled and we all got back to work ...Every now & then you would hear one of the lads burst out laughing because all those military cops were probably belting the ZZZZZ out when the Bottle hit....I still have a giggle about it ;D
