i read an article from a few years back when people first started using vegetable oil it was 44p a litre and diesel was 77p a litre at the time, an ASDA store down south somewhere noticed a lot of people were buying a lot more vegetable oil than usual and just thought people in the area were doing a lot of frying, the article said they found nothing unusual about people buying trolleys full of vegetable oil .

I haven't read through the whole thread so I don't know what's been said.
A friend of mine was doing it a couple of years ago, no conversion kit, diesel van, filtered cooking oil, straight in the tank, running like a f*****g dream.

Would it work on petrol cars? Mind, if it took off big style, the sods would put the price of cooking oil up!!!
