never had a ticket and dont drive slow just stick to the limit, if you break the speed limit and get a fine and points then there is only one person to blame, unless you drive a Toyota.

Thing is though skint, why don't they go after bad drivers with the same gusto as they do "speeders"? Bad driving causes a hell of a lot more accidents than speed does!!

I think in many circumstances the limits are too slow. Some days I get into the car and say OK today I'm going to stick to the speed limits, after 5 minutes I get bored and put my foot down.

thing is Ann speeding is classed as bad driving, i think there should be a lot more unmarked police cars on the roads, im sick of seeing people using mobile phones, reading maps etc, i was behind a car the other week and as we drove along McDonald papers started coming out the drivers window then a bit further along a pop carton it looked like a young lad in the car on his own, if he had lost control and crashed i wonder how he would have explained been covered in fast food.

The reason why there are so many on mobiles etc, is because they are to intent on catching someone going a few miles over the limit!! To me, someone on a mobile is far more dangerous than someone going a bit faster than they should!! The whole of Tynemouth is 20mph, how stupid is that? I've lived there 16/17 years, and in all that time there has been one accident, and that was a woman not watching where she was going, and stepped in front of a bus, nowt to do with speed. I'd be ecstatic to hit 20mph on Front St!!
