Yes, but the point I was making was that Cyanna was from California, she wasn't an ex pat, whereas BRS was from this area, and lived abroad I think it's different if you'refrom an area, I belong to my "hometown" forum, but wouldn't bother if I wasn't from there IYSWIM

I'm not really expecting Cyanna to have much time to come on here to be honest-last time I spoke to her she was very busy Mind I know her hubbies from this neck of the woods-so you never know Worth a try anyway

Cyanna was an American though, she went "home" I haven't been on the Chron comments for ages, I don't like the format My point was not specific to Cyanna, who I do not know personally. CWL

Hey Shads - do you think you could find Ozman? I really liked that guy. Didn't he leave the Chron forum because of the "nasty stuff"? Let us see if we can get him back - this forum is great, I think he would like it

I liked him too Patsie-used to see his posts first thing every morning and he used to make me laugh at a time when there wasnt much to laugh about. If memory serves me right he left after people started playing silly buggers on the EC. I'd love to find him but it would be hard.Mind if anyone has any idea of the region he was in that could be a start

I didn't remember I went on to the old board, and he was on page 103 and it said where he was from. Not that it gets us any further really Looking back it brought back quite a few names I'd forgotten about. Pity we cannot get in touch with them.

I hate looking at the boards cos it reminds you of people you talked to. There might be ways-if people use forums then its possible they might be using a local one-look at how many HYS stayed local. And the footies guys found each other through footie stuff. Ive found a couple through remembering their posts and what their interests are-its a long slow process but its not necessarily impossible. Alfs still on the Chron. But its getting the message to a username

I've left a couple of messages for alf a while ago, circumnavigating the Chron censors, but he hasn't bitten Maybe he thinks it's still full of yahoos

Shadow - Just been checking on Google, re: old members. Everything I tried has turned up with the EC message - forums closed. Except for one - which must have escaped them - check out "Britain or Australia where is best to live" It is a conversation between Kentonlass and Ozman. I'll keep snooping, and let you know if I find anything - in the meantime - it's over to you. Hope you track them down
