my son was walking down the stairs today and stopped half way but the sound of footsteps kept going and he said he just felt someone push past him, i dont know why all of a sudden these strange things are happening, i did buy a couple of old megadrive games at the boot sale a couple of weeks ago perhaps they are haunted.

I'm an open minded sceptic on this. It would be nice if we came back as something else - preferably a house cat - but can't see it myself. I think when you're dead, that's it. But I'm quite prepared to change my mind with proof

When I worked at Souter Lighthouse, Whitburn, the living room which was used for watch keeping during the night used to have strange noises coming from the room above (my bedroom, as it happened to be!)....however, when I was on watch I heard the same sounds. The noises sounded like stealthy footsteps moving around the bedroom.....but no one was there! The explanation lay in the fact that there were coal mine workings under the lighthouse and on looking up at the ceiling there were indeed fine hairline cracks all over it, hence the sounds. Anyone new to the place, of course, was never told the rational explanation and horrific stories of murders, hangings, etc etc were told to the new guys with relish! ;D  |
