So British Gas have broken the 2 billion barrier when it comes to making a profit. They knew these profits were coming when they were sticking it up us during the winter but what can you expect from a French company....Greedy GREEDY Bastwards

Private companies think nothing of their customers! So long as the bosses get their bonuses and shareholders get their divvies, the customer is very low down the pecking order!!

Being honest tho-theres loads of companies taking the mick.Just cos British Gas is French owned doesnt mean its just them that should be singled out IMO.
Energy companies in this country are having a laugh too,as are petrol stations, bankers and Supermarkets.
And pen pushing NHS top knobs.

I don't know why anyone is surprised at the behaviour of these companies, It's sadly what we are used to.

a bloke from British Gas came to our house a while back and tried to get me to switch to them but i said no, he said why i have a newspaper article here saying were the cheapest, i said not according to compare the market, he said his newspaper article was more up to date than them ;D, i said even if you were the cheapest you would not be for long as you always hike up the prices when you reel in enough customers, he said ill let you think about it i said im not switching, a good thing to remember never give them your name or they may forge it on the forms to switch, Scottish power done this to us we soon switched back when we found out what they had done and they had the cheek to try and charge us for switching back to our previous supplier.

Privatising the Utilities has to be one of the worse decisions any government ever made

What is it with this country we close down or sell off so called none profit making companies which foreign companies snap up and all of a sudden they are in the black The latest is the steel plant on Teesside Corus could not make any money out of it but a foreign company has enough faith to spend 100s of millions on buying it and 10s of millions on getting it up and running. We have french companies running our gas & water we have a German company running our electric the Germans are even running the Metro .There are rumours we are now putting tenders out to run our Nuclear facilities. I wonder how many British companies are running mainland European Utilities

We take the money and run and sod the customers.
