Is the lottery worth doing in all its varied forms? I just completed an online survey about my opinions of the new "5 plus" I think it was....pay an extra £ and it gives you a chance of winning £250,000 over 5 days...something like that. Anyway, I never play, apart from a couple of times when it first started . I just think the chances of winning anything are too remote. What I would like to see is a maximum 1st. prize of £1 million, 2nd. £500,000, 3rd. £250,000, then bigger money than you get now for, say, getting 4 numbers? What does everyone think?

We got 4 numbers in the "syndicate" (all 3 of us : at work. Although I'm not there any more, I still do the lottery with my ex workmates. We got the grand total of £40 40 quid for 4 numbers!!!! The distribution should be much fairer, I think you should get at least a thousand quid for 3 numbers, more would play if the odds of winning was not so high as well!!

Few years back my sister got five numbers as part of a syndicate and normally that would have been a canny pay out.But that week loads of people got five numbers. She ended up with about £600 quid when in any other week it would have been at least ten times that

Aye, it's scandalous!!! And only a tenner for 3, yet get 3 more and you get millions, it's ridiculous!!
