Back to stripping, I remember that having stripped the old wallpaper, you had to trim the edges on the new rolls before pasting and hanging. Yes i remember also cold water paste looked like flour. It was like school semolina. ;D ;D ;D

i once painted my sons bedroom with a cheap paint when it dried it had disappeared, the paint that is not his room ;D, i painted it 3 times and each time when it dried the paint just seemed to evaporate. Should have sold it to Paul Daniels.....disappearing paint! ;D (on ebay, of course!)

Unfortunately you dont know why some paints are so cheap until you try them its a bit of a false economy using them By the time you get a decent finish its cost you that much in time and paint you might aswell of bought a decent brand and completed the job in 2 coats
