Wallpaper, my mam over the years has just painted her kitchen but decided to redecorate new wallpaper etc, taking the first wallpaper off was ok but underneath was a wallpaper from hell, it had a waterproof coating on it and while removing it we now know why the previous tennants just papered over the top it's took 2 days of stripping and very knackering, when i left school many years ago i trained to be a painter and decorator and now i remember why i didnt like it, we once repapered an old blokes flat and he had glossed over the old wallpaper and this reminded me of that, well now the hard parts out of the way and helping on friday with the papering, roll on saturday i need a drink .

Back to stripping, I remember that having stripped the old wallpaper, you had to trim the edges on the new rolls before pasting and hanging.
