As Time Goes By..................

Watching News 24 earlier, they showed the Ibrox disaster memorial service. I nearly collapsed when they said it was FORTY years ago!!!!!! Is it just me, or is time going at a rate of knots, and you don't realise how long ago these things happened. Quite often I say about something, "oh it happened a couple of years ago" and then find out it was about 8 or 9 years ago!!!! Another couple of shockers are Torrey Canyon 44 years ago, Hillsborough 22 years, Falklands War 29 years, 1st Gulf War 20 years!!! Even 9/11 was 10 years ago!!! I'm giving up, I'm depressing myself here!!!!!

I say things like that Ann1,.... I think it means as we get older time just seems to go faster. ;D ;D then we sit there geting morbid wondering what we've done through time gone by like you say depressing, time to get the plonk out

Ive always said your life drags untill you get to 21 then WOOOOOOOSH its your 50th ;D

And it's funny, every year we say things like (at Xmas for instance) "it doesn't seem that long since the last one"!! I went to Tesco today, and they have already started putting in the Easter eggs!!!!!!! On the aisle right opposite the remnants of Xmas stuff. Makes you lose the will to live!! It's really ridiculous getting Easter eggs in now though
