Arsene Wenger brings his title chasing likely lads to SJP tomorrow to take on the best NUFC have available. The Toon have not done the league double over the London boys since 1994/95. Added to that we are still suffering from our 3pm Saturday hoodoo which also shows as much reluctance to disappear as does our benevolent Owner. On a positive note Tiote has now completed his three match suspension following the red card at Stevenage so is back in contention for a place. Should he not play I will be gob smacked. As for who will make up the forward line your guess is as good as mine.................in fact if you take your boots along you may well get a game. After the way some of them played on Wednesday that is not far off the truth. Most I can see us getting is a draw and will be very grateful not to see us hammered. This being The Toon of course means they will actually play out of their skins and probably win. As Jimmy Greaves would put it should that happen, Funny old game Saint, Funny old game.................... Alternate views and thoughts welcomed. CWL.

I read somewhere that Pardew was considering playing Nolan in a forward position. Another of his "Best for the team" tactics.

Think Ireland was going to be unavailable for two weeks when he was brought in, so, no.

Apparently not....................at least two weeks before we see much of Mr Ireland by all accounts. Best and Ranger or Best and Lovenkrands or Ranger and Lovenkrands or Best on his own or Ranger on his own or err! I think you get the idea! CWL
