Not sure if anyone else local heard our Manager Mr Pardew in his interview with BBC radio Newcastle yesterday tea time................. This from the man who only a month ago stated that he preferred to work with small, strong squads and then went on to say that the squad was strong. Finally reached the gut wrenching point where enough is enough................if I read any of this lot in the Chronic again soon I shall go and put the windows out at Thompson House: What we are going to do with the £35m from the Carroll transfer! How important Stephen Ireland is..................... How close Stephen Ireland is to getting a game................. The fans need to get behind the team for this game, in fact any b****y game you care to mention between now and end of the season! How important Stroller, Best, Ranger, Lovenkrands or anyone else up front capable of pulling an injury is to the team, when not playing! NUFC are close to completing the contracts for Barton, Enrique, Nolan or any other player worth a bob or two in the eye or wallet of our most benevolent owner. Mike Ashley saved the Club from going to the wall............. Mike Ashley has bankrolled the Club to the tune of..................... name your ammount, it's just a guessing game! Scouts are scouring all the Leagues in Europe looking to unearth talent to bring to SJP......................for next to nowt only to be sold as and when required! Jobs a goodun! Myself (Pardew), the coaching staff and the players are all working hard during training to ensure we get the points from the game coming up. Newcastle players are all good professionals and nice lads.............. Plus any others you can think of...................that I have missed. CWL  |

I'm a little confused CWL. Are you laying all the blame at Thompson House. I agree there are questions we would prefer to see asked of our manager and owner but it would seem the local press are "buttoned up" and wouldn't be afforded the few snippets they are given if they were to overstep the mark by asking critical questions. It is however increasingly annoying to see Pardupe spouting utter carp on an almost daily basis. This latest episode a 180 degree turn around from what he has stated previously. It is obviously a poorly veiled attempt to subdue opinionated fans who have been aware of our dismal squad situation all along. In my opinion he is a joke and a bad one at that. If all that is written is not true he could surely sue those responsible at Thompson House. |
