Where did it go wrong for Miliband? Where did all the last minute Tory votes come from?

I think it played a part that Milliband didn't address the fact that a person who lives in England has no influence over health, education and law in Scotland, while a person in Scotland has influence over health, education and law in England. That anomaly needs to be redressed, until it is the people in England are discriminated against - the Tories promised to do something about that discrimination, and as such, it was perfectly natural for the people in England to vote for the Conservatives.

Maybe your right, there was something profound happened between the last opinion pole and the the exit pole. It could well be people planned to vote UKIP, but decided to vote Tory, as most of UKIP candidates seem to have a colourful past. There may have been trust issues. Paddy Ashdown said if the exit pole was correct, he would eat his hat...................Yet another broken promise.
