Updates.

I wanted to put this topic up to let people know whats going on behind the scenes.

Obviously we are new to all of this and it will take time to get everything up and running smoothly.Ive finally managed to sort out the posting time problem so thats another box ticked but there is still much to do and learn.Ive spent much time today learning this and that and hopefully this will be of benefit to the forum.

I also want to announce that we have a new mod joining us on here-this person has come very highly recommended and I am grateful to roma for agreeing to join our forum and help us.

We will of course require more mods-please bear with us whilst we sort the threads,get up the categories and sort out the other stuff then we'll see exactly where the mods will be needed and perhaps which boards are appropriate for each persons interest or expertise.

Ok-still working behind the scenes to make this work.

Ive sorted out the wrong time being displayed on the guest page-the one before you log-in-it was five hours behind!!!

And for security reasons Ive limited people being able to post to members only on our boards.This is to try and deter trolls,spammers, etc-just trying to head off any future problems.

Slowly and surely we are getting there.

Apologies to those people trying to access the forum this morning.

This was due to an extremely large DDoS attack targeting the ProBoards servers.It affected all pro-board forums not just ours but hopefully this has or will be sorted out shortly.

The pages are still loading very slowly, but hopefully full service will be restored shortly.

I'll second that! I've put some new skins and a few new smilies on. I'll add more as we go along, but TBH I'm knackered now, ..................right, scrap that!!!!! The bloody smilies have disappeared, so I'll have to take the ones I put on off IYSWIM
