2013-14 (finished 10th)
It was the 4th highest league position in the last 10 years
It was the 9th highest league position in the last 20 years
It wa the 11th highest league position in the last 30 years
It was the 12th highest league position in the last 40 years
It was the joint 15th highest (with one other 10th place finish) league position in the last 50 years
No matter which of the stats you look at, this season was in the top half of seasons for us. We've only won one trophy in that time, so it doesn't make a difference. I conclude that last season (2013-14) was a good season for Newcastle. What do other people think?
