Well, I must admit it ended in abject failure - yet again!!! Although all was not lost, we got some floor covering, Mr Ann came with me, well, given he has to live with the stuff as well, it was only fair that he got a chance to agree with my choice Things were going not too bad until I suggested going on with the tile search!!! After a bit of teeth grinding and car door slamming, we made our way to Wickes - where they don't sell them as they are, and I quote "out of fashion"!!! Whilst there I thought I'd have a look at the towel warmer radiator thingios. Mr Ann was dragging behind like a kid going to the dentist!!!!
The lads in Wicks suggested Jamies Tiles in town (by the Centre for Life) I took one look at Mr Ann's face and beat a hasty retreat out of there!! On the way home we were passing Tyne Tunnel Ind Est, and saw the magic words - tiles. So Mr Ann did a turn that Hannu Mikkola would have been proud of, and we got to the tile place!! The lad there said they don't do mirror tiles - why am I not surprised - and suggested Ikea!!!!
I could see Mr Ann thinking A1, rush hour, no chance!!!! So home we came, sans mirror tile!! Now I don't know about you, but the more I'm told I cannot get something, the more determined I am to get it!!! So the saga continues.................................*stamps foot* I WILL get my tile!!!!!!

There'll be broken mirror tiles, even more angry Mr Anns, burnt down stores, five major cities in panic and the army called in for emergency before this is over I reckon.

Thanks for the suggestions folks - the real problem is I only want one, about 16/18" x 12/14"!!! I think I'll have to resort to stripping the frame off the mirror I've got there now (it's just a sort of cane thingio) and use that!!!! Time is getting on and desperation is setting in!!! Of course Mr Ann can't understand why we don't just put a mirror up!! Ho hum ;D
