What do you make of Frederic Piquionne's second Yellow and then RED for his goal celebration during West Ham's 2-2 draw against Everton? Madness................. CWL

I never saw it, what did he do? Was it any worse than the way some of them clart on when they score?? I quite like watching them, some are hilarious ;D

He was on a yellow. He then scored in the 85th min to give WHU a 1-2 lead at Goodison and after which he ran to the hammers fans and celebrated with them. Nothing much just hugged a few at the front. But the letter of the law says its a yellow. Ref did his job. 2 yellows = red and he was sent off. Then Fellaini equalised in injury time to add insult to injury and worsen the situation.

He jumped over one of the pitch-side advertising hoardings to be with the away fans during his celebration. When he came back on the ref showed the second yellow and sent him off. I suppose technically he had left the field of play, but very harsh in my view. CWL

That is very harsh!!!! As you say, technically he was right, but I do think sometimes common sense should overule "rules"!!

Well there was this player once who climbed the safety fence when he scored, when he jumped down his ring had stuck in the fence which made him tear off a part of his finger.... he was awarded a yellow for his troubles.
