At the end of yesterday's game after both teams had used their full quota there were twenty one (21) different nationalities on the pitch. Only the referee and Robinson in goal for Blackburn were English. No wonder the England team is so poor

Question is though, are the English players not good enough or do they not dare to give them the chance anyway no matter how good they are?

I was told it went up to 22 when one of the subs came on late in the game. Not sure it does reflect the poor nature of the National team as they are supposed to the best of what we have anyway. Do have concerns about young British born players getting a chance though so that as you point out may be the reason for Englands demise. Although the Money, Lifestyle, Ego's and attitude of many so called English professionals may have a lot more to do with it IMO. CWL
