No comment. I presume there isn't a rule that says that one has to post an opinion if one posts information, and unless there is such a rule, then I'll post information without stating an opinion if I wish to.

Restricting the number of children or restricting CB is just going to cause a lot of problems. What if you have kids while working then lose your job? What if you have kids with a husband/partner who is working, then he leaves you? What if people carry on having kids regardless, and their income is reduced? then it will be the kids that suffer with not enough money coming in.
its like the suggestion a while back that if your child truants from school then you should have your benefits stopped. Firstly that is not going to get the child back into school, and secondly what about parents who work- what would there punishment be- forced withdrawal of their wages?
Why are we always talking about punishing families on benefits- what about punishing families of bankers with big bonus's?
And to link to another thread- what about the queen? She had more than 2 kids, so maybe we should have stopped her benefits? She had kids that she had to rely on handouts from the state to support. They re a family of generation after generation living on welfare benefits while poor families get the blame for the pitiful amount they have to live on.

The meaning that Mother Nature will do it for us is pretty obvious really. The only way to "cull" the population via "nature" is if there was a world wide pandemic of some description, along the lines of the Spanish Flu of 1918.
