A decent player on his day but why must he always resort to playacting tactics to cover up his own mistakes? Looks idiotic and he gains nothing from it. Yesterday's hand ball was there for everyone to see and then he clutches his jewels as if he'd been castrated. FFS. Taylor if you are going to cheat, do it a little more discreetly.

In fairness Canny I don't think it was just Santon that made life difficult yesterday evening and Saylors antics, well nothing new there. However totally agree individual mistakes cost The Toon big time. Still the tie isn't over quite yet and I thought the 3 - 1 scoreline flattered Benfica. One thing for sure is that it's going to be one hell of a game should Newcastle turn this around at St James next week. Taking the little mascot with me again so anything may happen... WL

WL Hey your fledgling wasn't responsible for that paper airplane that flew from the terraces onto the pitch during the Anzi match was it? Darn thing was on the pitch for almost whole first half. Somehow I get a mental picture of you training young Mags to some of the extra circulars afforded them on European nights! Beginning to worry about Santon cuss other teams go right at him with regularity. When Colo was paired along side was that much of a problem. I like the lad for sure and he is young and get better but as another member suggested he might be better in the engine room.
