Capt M...........Roma is correct about the way the Forum was set up originally............... It was changed to try and protect members identities. I'm sure it can be altered again but only Shadow or Ann1 have the rights to do it. CWL  |

Did we get any further with finding ways to advertise this forum.
Jazz did the library ever put up the poster?
Also we were chatting before about making up cards to leave in public places. I thought that was a really good idea.
Where are we up to on this?

No, Bansh, the library didn't put up the notice on their board......it seems that it didn't fit their parameters for the type of things they want there...why not I don't know.....should ask I suppose.

Still doing some catching up so please bear with me here The reason I originally blocked non-members from seeing who was posting on here was because we did have people from the Evening Gazette forum coming on here and copying posts from HYS members, who had joined there also in the early days,in an attempt to cause friction between the two forums.. And there was an issue with people attempting to troll the forum at a time when we were just finding our feet. As the EG forum no longer exists and as I can see what a strong and dedicated team of mods we have on here Im happy to remove that block if people feel that would be of benefit to the forum-I'd welcome members comments regarding this. Business cards-Im looking into this now-found somewhere that will do it and I'm hoping to get some ordered pronto Please keep coming forward with any further suggestions |

Keep the forum as it is. Protection of member indentity is crucial and a first principle on the internet today. Helps keep trolls off also.  |

I would'nt remove the block Shadow, leave it as it is. At least we know where we are then.
