I dont like Walker the Spurs fullback....he's an arrogant dirty piece of shit.
He was trying to intimidate Yoan all game, pushing him around and down.
Is it just my warped perception?...Every time I look at the "tackle"....I see him following through, when he didnt need to.
Help me out guys....opinions?

I'll say this, other than Bale, Goufran was MOTM. Do ya think he, Walker was actin on orders from AVB? Yoan was workin his butt off up and down the pitch! |

I'll say this, other than Bale, Goufran was MOTM. Do ya think he, Walker was actin on orders from AVB? Yoan was workin his butt off up and down the pitch! Nurrrr.....I think that AVB is more concerned with hiding sweeties in his raincoat lining , flashing and enticing young boys and girls to jump in his car with him....... Walker on the other hand is an arsehole, whose been given afew roastings lately and his place is not safe..... |

Canny, looked at this several times now and although Walker went in hard I'm not convinced it was a deliberate effort to damage Gouffran. His studs were up for sure, however when compared to the Cabaye tackle later in the game didn't appear as late or bad. It's the scissor type tackle where the trailing leg cuts across the opposing players leg that I don't like. De Thug's tackle on Ben Arfa being an example of the worse kind. Fortunately Gouffran appears to be okay and all being well should be back for Southampton. WL  |
