Trolls

Right thanks to the ladies we have somthing we could only dream of.
Now how do we prevent the trolls?

The way i see it we could opperate zero tolerance our
3 strikes and your out the trouble with 3 strikes is the
amount of damage that can be done between strike one
and out saying that i prefer this option as long as its run
with zero tolerance its self.
I hope im not stepping on anyone's toes here

Thanks for bringing this up nick.To be clear-at the moment this forum is not a closed forum.I hope you'll agree that we want a wide range of members with differing opinions to encourage the lively debate we were all used to-but I think we all saw what the problems were over on the old forum.Everyone joining this forum will have agreed to the proboards T&Cs and will be expected to follow those T&Cs.Its also our intention to have this forum properly moderated-including weekend moderation.At the moment its still early days and we are receiving a great deal of advice from other forum Admins and the support section of proboards itself so that we can effectively deal with the problems that brought the last forum down.And we want to hear from the members of this forum as at the end of the day it was created for the members.Unfortunately I think it will be nigh on impossible to prevent some-one with bad intentions from registering as a member whilst the forum remains unlocked.We welcome all people joining who wish to contribute and join in but breach of the conditions will result in swift and strong action by the staff.That action can range from deletion of posts/threads if necessary,warnings or if all else fails a permanent ban.We really want to make this work for you all.We certainly arent there yet but we are working hard behind the scenes to get things right!!xx

Unfortunately with just starting up you are bound to get the odd one that will try and disrupt things for , if it's nipped in the bud straight away you should'nt have any problems.
