What is the point in employing any players that are not Premiership standard?
Remember when Keegan wanted shot of the reserve team? The reason he wanted shot was that they served no real useful purpose.
The current lot are way behind whats required, not even Championship standard looking at todays debacle.

ATB Disagreed with him and consequently with you Capn................we need reserves that have match experience so we could bring them on to eventually bolster the first team, and create competition for places to get them to Premier League Standard. Dont confuse the quality that we have , which is poor admitted, with the fact that we shouldnt have a reserve team. Mikey still controls the purse strings.  |

So we get rid of the reserves and half of the first team who aren't up to standard. Oh and don't forget the manager - What exactly does that leave us with? You may have noticed that MA is reluctant to part with enough money to secure a first team never mind a decent backup in each position. Keep the resereves, I say - they are on a learning curve! |

So we get rid of the reserves and half of the first team who aren't up to standard. Oh and don't forget the manager - What exactly does that leave us with? You may have noticed that MA is reluctant to part with enough money to secure a first team never mind a decent backup in each position. Keep the resereves, I say - they are on a learning curve! Well they need to buck up quickly because if we go down they have shown they cannot compete against a Championship side never mind a Premiership one!!    ATB |
