Fellow mags and whoever may pop in from upstairs.
Drove up to the cabin yesterday in a blizzard and took almost 7 hours on a journey that would normally take 2 hours and 45 mins. Fairs was a little grumpy to say the least. Mainly because having succumbed to pressure from so called friends, neighbours and even Mrs F. I had invested ( forked out) for a 4x4 which proved pretty damned worthless in the extreme conditions we are suffering at the moment.
The black cloud eventually disappeared after a couple of hours and having fired up the wood burning stove and partaking of the glyvin and a couple of Jegermeisters, I decided that life wasn't too bad after all.
I now have a couple of hours of snow clearing ahead of me which usually starts out as a heavy task and ends up as two hour chat with the guy from next door.
I am at least 1 hour ahead of most of you and probably a lifetime ahead of our friends stateside. Add to this the fact that here in Norge we celebrate Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day. I would take this opportunity to wish one and all a fantastic Christmas. May it bring all you would wish for yourselves.
Will try and post some pics later.

Fairsy, Christmas sentiments shared all round....... and I shall also be enjoying celebrating today. Not sure wishing for three points against Manure or The Gooners will get me very far, but you never know. Anyway the first of the family gatherings starts this afternoon so from myself to all on the Forum here's wishing you a great Christmas and for one day at least may your troubles be put to one side. God jul Fairy och alla andra. The Christmas here hasn't been that happy and the days that will follow will be even worse. Just as the Norweigans us Swedes are very impatient with getting the Christmas going as well. Being in Poland at the moment I had looked forward to see it being celebrated in the Polish way but sadly things got in the way for that.
