A step in the right direction tactical and playing wise.
We need more than just one step if we are to get out of this mess and next up we'll have a tough fixture ahead.
Anita was good yesterday, very neat and tidy and composed on the ball. Just like Santon he has been improving every game he has played. The dutchman look more and more important for the first eleven to me. Someone has to tell Tioté that he is supposed to pass to his teamates, not the opponents. Pardew also need to consider what he is supposed to do with Jonás. Had one of his better games yesterday but to me he is contributing nothing to very little for the team for me at the moment. Works hard in defense but breaks up our attacking play far too often when he is given the ball.
With a little bit of luck we could have taken a point yesterday, but you can't only rely on luck alone.
So bring on Etihad City, it won't be pretty.
