When I first found out this fixture was being moved for TV I thought so what...
Let's face it we usually don't get much at The Cottage so Sky are just wanting to display The Toon for more public humiliation. However is this not a perfect time to be playing Fulham?
No win in seven and no goals in the last three...
Okay before anyone states that's almost a cast iron guarantee The Toon will not turn up and they may as well hand the points over before a ball is kicked. I would suggest the opposite may apply and that our last two league performances, without going completely overboard, have raised hope above rock bottom.
With the exception of the QPR home game The Mags chances of picking up points during Xmas and into the New Year IMO is not great. Yet for some reason I believe in tomorrows game the side can get at least a point if not all three.
An early Christmas present or not, what do you think?
