Saw the first signs of Anita being a good player......he was nonstop harrying and chasing and tackling when they were on the ball, his distribution is improving, and we know he can hit the ball...........scant consolation though. We need to keep playing him for a run in the team.

I agree on Anita Canny. He is getting to grips with playing in England. It's always tough in a new league.
Apart from Anita, I was also happy to see BA keeping up that scoring run.

Problem there is I keep reading fn swansea ok ok ok Rodgers wants Ba in the next transfer window. Were the f**k would we be without Ba? Drop zone fella's. If it weren't fer Ba AP would not have been manager of the year......last.

Canny I know we all see the game in different ways, but for me Anita was knackered with 70 minutes gone. He is struggling to get to grips with the English game at this level and spent a lot of time chasing shadows against Swansea. The lad can still come good and has shown he is not without talent. However as a number of our team are equally struggling at the moment it's not doing him any favours being moved all over the shop position wise. WL

Canny it's not just an issue with Anita. As many of the technically gifted players Newcastle have signed recently all appear to struggle with the physical demands of this league. Doesn't mean they are unable to play or have no talent just more a case of having to adjust their game. Thing is time is not always on their side and with the present number of injuries it puts more pressure on them to perform. I certainly have a lot more hope Anita will come good than someone like Obertan or Gosling who have played in this league a lot longer. WL
