Don't know if they are showing this documentary over yer way but Fox Soccer TV has been airing a series over here called "Being Liverpool". I know Canny has seen a bit and I have only seen a couple of episodes. It is interesting to me as I have no history of Liverpool other than the "fab four" come from there and we never win at Anfield. I am extremely bias against the Reds as they are owned by John Henry owner of the Mackem Red Sox baseball team, a team I despise. The documentary follows Rodgers around and shows the training grounds, some locker room stuff etc. There was a bit with Andy Carroll but never let on why he was loaned out. Looks like a big mistake now, eh? Rodgers comes off as a bit of an odd duck always encouraging the players and always saying how great they are. Probably cause he's being filmed. Any of you guys see this?

Rodgers may not be there much longer if his run of poor results continues..... They are out of The Capital One Cup which they won under King Kenny last season, beaten 3 - 1 by Swansea at Anfield. Would be great if The Toon can put another nail in their coffin come Sunday... WL |

Now we've beaten one of our bogey teams this week - lets hope are fortunes remain good at Anfield on Sunday.

The Mags record at Anfield is on a par of that at Old Trafford....... always have hope but it never appears to materialise. This weekend I have little expectation, but will savour the win should it finally turn up... WL |
