Just goes to show how quiet it is around here at the moment.....Was absolutely sure you wouldn't bite and just swim on by. Ah! well, like most of my predictions lately, wrong again! CWL Best take care when messing with the , "smiter from Venice", lest your upward karma trend will never reach the century mark Ahhh Broon you are correct.........the Karma Enhancer is losing faith with the forum sage............he may never reach his century..........something about him reneging on a reciprocal pin arrangement involving a Blue Star and a 911 FBI ......my faith is weakening as the months trail by. I can but hope that there is a shred of common decency left somewhere in his personna to come through on an agreement made in drink, but nonetheless sacred to me......sad sad sad.....

What is this I'm reading...it is an outrage... The Karma Chameleon losing faith in the sage (the onion costs extra) while casting (that's the fishing in joke for those that don't already know) doubt on his integrity, supported by wild aspersions about his character while under the influence, all intended to rock the very fibre of his being. To even suggest this pillar of forum society will not come through is a mockery indeed. Well mocketh not as this is serious stuff my fellow Mags. Perhaps it is some wild gambit from the vertically challenged exile? Possibly worthy of our most benevolent owner, however the stakes are high and risks grave should it fail. Could it be our fellow Mag from across the pond is not worthy of receiving the prized Blue Star pin? Will it now be presented to the brave soul of the Leazes End fighting Desert Storm III (it's his birthday soon and a special one) or that feared hunter of heads from Norway. I sense many an 'Ah! But!' coming on from those that will be reading this while screaming at the monitor that I should refrain from making a rash or hasty decision! Perhaps a consultation with a former keeper of the light is in order or have a poll among the Toon Army.... Yet now is not the time for such mighty thoughts so back into my shell I shall go to ponder the next move while waiting for a further response. CWL

CWL Ah.............the Karma Chameleon?? ....Classic........................... It occurred to me that the Clearwhitelight name may have been hastily acknowledged as a beacon of truth and integrity.....without said person being put through the test of time and commitment that we Geordies tend to apply when first meeting anyone new.......Geordie or not. And as a Geordie, you only give one chance to newcomers, if they let you down in any way, then they've had it. Bearing in mind that the 911 pin was given to me by a female member of the FBI Anti-terrorist squad, in return for some services rendered.(If I told you I'd have to kill you)....you would realize the value of the pin both sentimental and strategic.......... This let down weighs heavily on my mind, causes me personal anguish and leaves me at a loss on what action to take. I too, must withdraw and consider all possible implications of White Lightning's(his new name being associated with hallucinatory chemicals) actions in this matter. In this case the situation reminds me of one of my dad's expressions....'there's no fool like an old fool'.....and that would be me.....

I feel the saga of the blue star pin deserves a thread of its own.... it could run for a while. As a mod I shall also be moving the other posts from HWGA into this thread to prevent cluttering up the place. However please note the following dialogue between myself and the wee Mag from across the pond is between us as forum members. It is vital this is understood in case there is any blood letting or other actions like secret smiting of karma in a negative direction throughout the course of the discussion. Not that I will be stooping so low to defend my position. Should any of you wish to comment as things proceed please feel free to do so. CWL

Ye Gods! with barely a day gone by my karma suffers a negative trend. The vertically challenged pony tailed one scampering off mere seconds after my arrival having completed the dirty deed. Sad to see the name calling has also raised it's head early. Well that may well have worked with his young adversary last time, but doesn't intimidate one who is a shining light among men. However such is my confidence in refuting this scurrilous slur on my character and far be it from me to contest the view of his father (obviously a wise man) I shall not respond in kind. I also think my adversary in this contest of memory had better try and recall fully what was agreed, after all I was not the only one imbibing alcohol that day! CWL

White Lightning
I feel I do not want to be drawn into a pissing match over this affair......I already feel let down and sad. As for name calling...the one above is my first attempt with you having held you on a higher level than most for so long.......however in the opposite direction 'vertically challenged " is ok? Do you know how hurtful that is to Northern Dwarves? I am thinking about taking time off to contemplate my navel, or watch grass grow(before I dry it out and smoke it).......such is the devastation that I find myself in at the moment............now where's the Jack ffs!

So the Man from Atlanta takes offence when I use the politically correct term 'vertically challenged' and the fact he has a pony tail. Yet chooses to declare he is possibly associated with Northern Dwarfs. No wonder he is sad! Perhaps he is pining for the Norwegian Fjords and a visit to see his new hero Fairsy? Interesting to see The Thunder God has chosen to remain neutral... or perhaps he has been shackled by the prospect of other dire revelations being posted by Canny from that fateful training day in May Fear not Fairsy I fully understand the predicament you find yourself in and have first hand experience of the ways of our stateside Mag. After all he dropped me from the hero list like cow dung in a green field when it pleased him. Not giving one jot of consideration to my feelings and to add insult to injury later calls me White Lightning of all things. Is that not another Freudian slip from his Mackem persona coming through as I always understood it is one of the favoured drinks of the brain dead from Wearyside. As for contemplating his navel well having seen his manly physique it's certainly not going to be easy so perhaps the better option is to smoke the grass. However I digress from the heart of the matter... The Blue Star Pin! Once again I challenge my slanderer to fully state what the agreement was between us. Unless of course he is too busy jackin err! off with Jack again... CWL

Not that bothered where Canny has a dump and in football parlance 'Its all gone quiet over there" and "You only sing when you're winning!". I now suspect his tirade has nothing to do with our agreement over exchanging a Blue Star Pin, but is a touch of the green eyed monster coming into play and I don't mean The Hulk although that is also a clue about the innocent party. Well now.......been away earning a living in Virginia...working with some Spaniards.......come back to the unbridled goading, abuse and vitriol of former CWL......posting without reply and generally trying to justify his words to himself.........where I come from this is a sure sign of reconised guilt, and trying to reassure himself that that is the way it was.....Myself in return will not be drawn into a slanging match and prefer to retain what little dignity I have at this late stage in my life. With regard to my reason for being let down and dissapointed....yes it is still the pin saga........why would I be jealous of the former CWL, what does he have I could need? My perception of the agreement was a straight exchange of pins......simple as that. Finally you will notice I have not dropped to name calling or goading, as its all pointless and not worth the aggravation. Will be taking some time off the board.....dont find it fun any more.......may even contact magpie and compare notes......

I take it the secret smiting of Karma in a negative direction doesn't come under goading then in the US of A. As for the green eyed monster I feel it is only right that everyone is made fully aware the comment in that post was not referring to myself, but his best pal, and I don't mean Fairsy. Perhaps the constant reminder Broon has one of the fabled Blue Star Pins in his possession has turned the head of the Man from Atlanta. Certainly all the time he is spending on his own with Jack late into the night is doing nothing for his powers of recall. Still I'm trying to figure out what I may actually be guilty of, other than having a better memory, yet feel no need to justify anything other than defending my position in all of this. Perhaps the Gentleman from Eshingtun would be better off having a rest (he is getting on a bit) and taking a much needed vacation from the forum. He may not be having fun but the thought of comparing notes with Magpie gave me a laugh. CWL
