Looks as though the play off game in the African Cup of Nations between Senegal and Ivory Coast has descended into chaos. The Senegalese side, including Ba and Cisse were losing 0 - 2 (2 - 6 on aggregate), both scored by Drogba for the Ivory Coast. Shortly after the second goal things began to get serious. The result was several fires being started, various objects being hurled on the pitch and at the visiting Ivory Coast fans. Those fans then ended up on the pitch along with players and officials. The game clock is currently stuck on 76 minutes. It's not the first time this has happened either, a similar situation occurred in 2008 when Senegal failed to qualify at the expense of rivals The Gambia. Fires were lit around the ground then also. No way this will start again. I suppose The Toon Army can at least be pleased only Tiote will now be missing for the ACN in January 2013... CWL
