It was good to see Pardew "standing up" to Ashley But then again his job is simply to hold the chips in the casino

When did Andy Carroll put a written transfer request in because it wasn't mentioned until after Carroll was on his way to the north west
All day Newcastle were saying Carroll was not for sale no word of Carroll's transfer request it only came out when Newcastle back tracked and agreed to sell for 35 million

The truth is that Carroll didnt have to go but he did.
That Ashley didnt have to sell but he did.
Now both are looking to appease the fans whilst laughing all the way to the bank

And who suffer in the end - us fans Been keeping an eye on this myself so not sure how many of you are also aware of it, but Carroll has been in dispute with his former agent since well before Christmas......................here is the latest installment. www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/feb/02/andy-carroll-legal-battle-agent?intcmp=239It probably still involves money when all is said and done, but his transfer this week just made it a whole lot bigger stakes for the loser in their legal battle!
